Yesterday was two things. One, the start of Spring Break. Two, it was April fools and I was positive the weather forecasts were playing a prank when they called for snow this weekend.

Nope.

So while most of the town is in Florida, California, Arizona and other fabulously warm sunny places – the flowers, I, and other stay-cationers are here with the snow.

This is spring in Michigan my friends! One day the sun is bright and warm and beautiful and the next day snow is gathering on the ground.

I’m left to wonder if Memorial Day will finally be a good time to wash and put away the snow pants. And the hats and the gloves and the boots. …maybe I’ll keep out the gloves until June. Just in case.
