Life

a fresh face

Today I retired the Mackinaw Bridge photo that has been the background of this blog since I started it four years ago.

I pressed “publish” for the first time in February of 2012 and it was around this time when I made the decision to share my transition back to the mitten state with all of you. I felt lost in this new world I was in. While I was absolutely terrified to start this blog, to put my thoughts out here for everyone around the world to see, it was a story I wanted to tell. Writing and sharing about this new home helped me to balance and to find my way.
It’s time to go forward with a new design as I continue to find amazing places along with all of the stories and experiences I want to share with you. There are so many more things that now represent Michigan to me than just the bridge. I have completely fallen for the natural beauty of this state. I’m hoping to share my favorite Michigan images with you over on Instagram and really highlight my writing, life experiences, and Michigan discoveries here.
Here’s to the next phase of Lost in Michigan! Still discovering. Still exploring. Still celebrating and sharing from this gorgeous place I call home.
